WHO ARE WE?
Please support us to keep helping local animals
WHO ARE WE?
We are the RSPCA Aberconwy, Montgomeryshire & Wrexham Branch! We are an independent charity (Charity Number: 224340) but part of the RSPCA family of branches and support local animals everywhere from Llanfairfechan in the West and Wrexham in the East, and Conwy in the North and Llandrindod Wells in the South.
As a local charity, we are responsible for raising all of our own funds to help run our low cost animal welfare clinic in Llandudno Junction and the Mobile Clinic that visits venues throughout North Wales every week of the year. We also rescue, rehabilitate and re-home pets and wildlife from all over our Branch area.
To fund all of this, we also run three charity shops in Llandudno, Craig y Don and Rhos on Sea that rely solely on donations from the general public and a team of dedicated volunteers to keep it open.
Our branch is run by a committee of locally elected trustees who are responsible for the strategic and development of the branch working alongside our amazing staff and volunteers.
We also do our very best to support animals from our local area who need help finding new homes. Most of these we take in directly from the local RSPCA Inspectors as the animals most in need of our support. Once we have assessed, rehabilitated and fostered them into a loving family from our fostering network, we work hard to find them their new forever homes. You can see the animals we currently have looking for homes by clicking here.
If you would like to support the branch in whatever way please do get in touch. We have lots of opportunities for people to be involved from joining the charity shop team or helping out at the clinics. You might even be interested in becoming a fosterer, helping animals we take in recover from their misfortune and supporting them in finding their new homes. Whatever interests you, please get in touch by emailing us at enquiries@rspca-aberconwy.org.uk or drop in to the shop or clinic to pick up an application form.
